Delivery & Substitution Policy

Delivery Area and Fees

Palmetto Blossom offers distance-based delivery up to 14 miles from the shop. Current delivery fees are $5 for addresses up to 3 miles, $10 up to 8 miles, and $15 up to 14 miles. Delivery availability and the applicable fee are confirmed after you enter the recipient's address at checkout. The city links on this page are individual landing pages and do not list every address within our delivery area.

Delivery Timing

Orders placed by 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone can typically be delivered the same day Monday through Friday. Orders outside the local delivery area may need to be placed by 1:00 p.m. Same-day availability may vary. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time; most orders are delivered within about four hours. You may request a time frame in the order notes, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Normal delivery hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. for businesses, until 6:00 p.m. for residences, hotels, and hospitals, and by 2:00 p.m. for high schools. Hours may be extended during major holidays. Weekend availability varies; if the selected day is unavailable, we may contact you to arrange another delivery date.

Delivery Details

We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or APO addresses. High schools generally do not accept deliveries for students, so student gifts should be sent to a residence. For funeral orders, we prioritize timely delivery and may contact the funeral home to confirm service details. If a funeral banner is unavailable, we may replace it with additional flowers of equal value.

If no one is available, the driver may leave the arrangement in a safe location when appropriate or contact the recipient to arrange delivery. Please provide an accurate address. If delivery is attempted to an incorrect address, a $10 address correction fee applies. We are not responsible for delivery to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you request delivery to be left unattended, you accept responsibility for the arrangement once it is left. If a recipient refuses delivery, you may remain responsible for the order.

Same-day orders are processed promptly and may not be changed or canceled once they are in progress, en route, or delivered. To request a change or cancellation before processing, call (803) 548-8009.

Substitutions

Flowers are seasonal and availability varies by region. If a requested flower is unavailable, including seasonal varieties such as iris, tulips, gladiolus, peonies, or dahlias, the florist may substitute flowers of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to preserve the arrangement's overall style, size, shape, and color. For single-variety designs, the flower variety takes precedence over the color.

Similar plants of equal or greater value may be substituted; plant containers will be chosen to match as closely as possible. If a specific plant variety is unavailable, we will make every effort to match the type. Gift basket items may be replaced with items of equal or greater value to protect freshness and timely delivery. For balloons, Mylar may replace latex when a facility does not allow latex.

For time-sensitive occasions such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, a substitution of equal or greater value may be made to help deliver on time if the requested item is unavailable and we cannot reach you using the contact details provided.
